Today, ECG has four facilities operating in Pennsylvania. We are currently seeking a Quality Engineer for our Hermitage and Sharon, PA facilities. This position is critical for the daily operation and continuing growth of world class finish machine capabilities and will report directly to the ECG Quality Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Four-year Degree in Quality Management or Engineering

In lieu of degree, past experience will be considered

Strong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilities

Strong personal computer skills, including Microsoft office programs

Excellent organizational skills

Must be results oriented with a strong desire to succeed

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Thorough understanding of quality and manufacturing processes

Thorough understanding of tools, gauging and fixturing

Strong math skills

US Passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Quality System Management ISO Compliance

Internal Auditing

Product Verification activities

Gauge Calibration

Data Summary and Analysis

Documentation and investigation of customer claims and complaints Product Quality Submission of non-conformances to customers in a professional and timely manner

Maintain product non-conformance data in Syteline Follow up on product nonconformance investigations with responsible personnel

Function as a primary quality contact for customer concerns working along with sales Quality Engineering Lead preventive and corrective action efforts

Support area managers on product quality issues within their respective departments

Lead quality improvement teams

Review and revise procedures and guidelines to reflect current processes

Drive lean efforts based on quality needs

Drive efforts to reduce quality costs at ECM Support other facilities and duties as requested by Director of Quality
