$100,000k M-F 8am-5pm On-site We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer with strong project leadership and manufacturing experience to support quality excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within a made‑to‑order manufacturing environment. This role is highly visible and hands‑on, combining data analysis, quality assurance, and cross‑functional project work. The Quality Engineer will serve as a technical leader on projects and partner closely with manufacturing, engineering, claims, and customer experience teams while overseeing the work of a Quality Technician. Day in the Life Review prior‑day production and quality data Pull and analyze reports from the ERP system Prepare and present quality metrics for daily site meetings Recap issues and action items via email Lead or support validation projects, equipment measurements, quality checks, and testing Collaborate with internal teams and occasionally draft customer correspondence Work across departments including manufacturing, engineering, claims, and customer experience Role is approximately 60% floor/field‑based and 40% reporting and data analysis Key Responsibilities Quality Assurance (40%) Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions Monitor quality metrics and identify improvement opportunities Maintain plant‑specific quality documentation and specifications Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and support external audits Support new product testing and specification development Continuous Improvement (20%) Identify process improvements and cost‑reduction opportunities Lead Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives Develop standardized work and best practices Data Analysis & Reporting (20%) Analyze KPIs, trends, and performance metrics Prepare and present quality and improvement reports Apply statistical methods to solve manufacturing and quality issues Project Management (10%) Lead multiple projects simultaneously Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables Act as technical contributor and project lead Training & Collaboration (10%) Train and mentor team members on quality tools and methodologies Collaborate with engineering, production, suppliers, and customers on quality matters Required Qualifications (Must‑Have) Manufacturing experience Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
