IMPORTANT
This position is best suited for candidates who have direct experience managing calibration programs, performing gauge verification, and working within ISO/cGMP-regulated environments. Applicants without this specific background will not be considered.
In this role, you will own and support all aspects of the calibration lifecycle,including scheduling, verification, vendor coordination, documentation review, and audit readiness,while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure adherence to quality standards. You will also play a key role in Gage R&R studies, CAPA investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Obtain calibration quotes and submit purchase requisitions in SAP
Perform internal verifications, schedule calibrations, and coordinate routine gauge/instrument maintenance services
Assist with gauge troubleshooting and repairs
Support Gage R&R studies, as needed
Maintain the gauge management system, including upkeep of gauge maintenance and repair records
Verify and review gauge condition; maintain site calibration records
Oversee the completion of on-site calibrations with external vendors
Review and approve calibration certificates
Package and ship gauges for external calibration
Archive all calibration certificates and verification records, both digitally and physically
Train applicable employees on the proper use and maintenance of gauges
Participate in customer or regulatory audits and inspections, as needed
Support the execution of gauge validation and qualification protocols, as required
Manage assigned CAPAs and non-conformances, including conducting root cause investigations, defining resolution actions, and implementing corrective and preventive measures in a timely manner
Work within the scope of all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Participate in required training sessions and meetings
Follow all company policies and procedures
Cross train in other Quality areas and/or functions to support business needs
Promote and support safety/EHS initiatives, maintaining a clean and safe workspace
Follow cGMP requirements and adhere to all ISO and safety guidelines, policies, and protocols
Collaborate frequently across departments to ensure adherence to all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Your Profile
High School Diploma or GED, required
Minimum 2 years of experience in gauge management and calibration, or Quality related manufacturing role, preferred
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485 and 15378, and cGMP
Thorough knowledge and usage of MS Office and SAP
Multi-tasking abilities
Detail oriented approach; ability to follow directions and instructions
Team oriented
Service oriented
Effective communication skills
Ability to read, write and speak English language
