We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in the plastic manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures specific to plastic manufacturing processes. Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Analyze quality data and identify trends or issues, recommending corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing processes. Maintain documentation related to quality control activities, audits, and compliance reports. Ensure adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to product defects or process deviations. Support supplier quality management and perform supplier audits as needed. Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. Proven experience in quality assurance within the plastic or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of plastic materials, manufacturing processes, and quality control techniques. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASTM, or similar. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using quality testing equipment and software. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
