Now Hiring:
Quality Engineer - Philadelphia, PA (Onsite) Insight Global is partnering with a manufacturing client in Philadelphia that is looking to bring on a Quality Engineer to support their production environment. This is a 1st shift role (10am-7pm, Monday-Friday) focused on driving quality improvements, reducing defects, and ensuring compliance across products and processes.
What You'll Be Doing:
Drive quality initiatives across manufacturing and production teams Lead root cause analysis and CAPA efforts for nonconformances and customer issues Support new product introductions (FMEA, control plans, validation) Conduct internal, supplier, and customer audits Analyze quality data and identify trends / improvement opportunities Partner cross-functionally to implement continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) Review engineering changes and ensure quality compliance Support eQMS/document control and ensure adherence to standards
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or similar Experience working within a Quality Management System (ISO 9001 or similar) Strong data analysis skills (Excel or similar tools) Nice to
Have:
Experience with quality tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, control plans, root cause analysis) SAP experience Six Sigma certification or Lead Auditor cert Background in regulated industries (medical devices, pharma, automotive, aerospace)
Compensation:
$36.60-$49.80/HR Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
