$75,000•$90,000 Join a Team Where Quality Drives Performance An established industrial manufacturer is seeking a Quality Engineer to play a key role in advancing quality initiatives, strengthening operational processes, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and customer-facing teams to ensure products consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory standards. What You'll Be Doing Partner with Operations, Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Customer Service to identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced quality performance. Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions. Support and enhance the organization's
ISO 9001
quality system to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness. Monitor quality trends, analyze data, and recommend improvements to reduce defects and improve reliability. Develop and maintain inspection methods, quality procedures, and work instructions. Collaborate with suppliers to establish expectations, address quality concerns, and support supplier improvement efforts. Participate in internal, external, and customer audits while helping drive closure of audit findings. Support inspection activities for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products. Train employees on quality requirements, procedures, and best practices. Assist with customer quality inquiries, product concerns, and occasional on-site support activities. Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as business needs evolve. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent quality experience within manufacturing environments will be considered. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering or a related manufacturing quality role. Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
quality standards and quality system requirements. Experience conducting root cause investigations using methodologies such as 8D, CAPA, 5 Why, or similar tools. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement practices is a plus. Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to resolving issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to travel up to 25% as needed. Preferred Experience Experience supporting any of the following environments is highly valued: Industrial equipment manufacturing Precision machining Pumps and fluid handling equipment Rotating equipment Foundry operations Aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industries Why This Opportunity?
