Job Description

About the Role As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will drive excellence in our manufacturing processes by leveraging Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance product reliability. You will serve as a technical lead, collaborating across departments to solve complex quality challenges and ensure our output consistently meets rigorous customer standards. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end quality improvement initiatives, utilizing SPC and Lean principles to optimize production efficiency. Develop and maintain comprehensive inspection plans, including advanced CMM programming and fixture design. Manage the PPAP process to ensure seamless project timelines and product conformance. Execute corrective actions for internal and external non-conformances, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with suppliers to uphold quality standards and ensure sub-tier compliance. Analyze operational data to implement cost-reduction strategies that align with organizational financial objectives. Create and maintain Standard Work Instructions to standardize quality assurance procedures across the facility. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience within a manufacturing or machine shop environment. Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints, including GD&T standards. Advanced technical skills in CAD software, MS Office, and database management tools. Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Deep understanding of machining processes, tooling, and fixture design. Demonstrated experience in customer-facing quality audits and technical proposal support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
