Job Description

•This position is listed as a remote role, but requires significant travel throughout the United States. Willingness to travel up to 80% is a must.
Job Summary:
This person will be a member of a team to focus on overall pallet quality, including the development, management, and implementation of standards for Depots, 3PLs, and iDepots to follow to enrich our customers' experience and advocacy of iGPS through intentionality and responsiveness to their needs. Further, this team member will assemble empirical data showing pallet modifications that are needed plus direct Customer/Retail feedback on the current pallet models for consideration in the next pallet generation. Position will require extensive travel to conduct quality-related visits as required based on strategic need.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble empirical data showing pallet modifications that are needed plus direct Customer/Retail feedback on the current pallet models for consideration in the next pallet generation. Inspect and analyze the forensics of pallets in the field influencing quality and environmental exposure. Conduct planned visits to Manufacturers, 3PLs, iDepots and Depots to evaluate the quality of pallets. Create reports and matrixes to provide quality improvement feedback and analytics to operators. Develop in-depth understanding of company quality standards to apply to analytical reports and improvement recommendations. Develop a solid understanding of customer / retail uses and needs of pallet quality. Responsible in providing recommendations for corrective actions to the Sales, Retail and Depot Operations teams. Job Qualifications and Skills Associate or bachelor's degree in an engineering/technology discipline 2-5+ years of work experience in a Quality role Excellent interpersonal skills within a customer environment Good written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills Keen attention to detail Strong teaching skills for internal and customer personnel Possess basic computer and Microsoft suite skills. Solid documentation and reporting skills Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with other iGPS teams and customer personnel Highly Desired Skills Experience with quality techniques such as Six Sigma 2-5+ years in the Transportation/Supply Chain Industry Fluent in speaking/writing in English Spanish language skills

From $80,000.00 per year
