Quality Engineer

Quality Engineer- Hybrid Job Description As a Quality Engineer, you will provide cross-divisional support for remediation efforts. Under broad supervision, you will be responsible for independently setting and upholding quality standards for a portfolio of medical devices, commodities, OTC drugs, and/or cosmetic products. You will evaluate production processes, recommend improvements, qualify and conduct vendor management, and generate and maintain Device Master Records, product specifications, design control files, and CE technical files. Responsibilities Supports cross-functional quality efforts across medical device, OTC, and cosmetic products, ensuring compliance and driving remediation initiatives. Provides expertise in QMS, design controls (DHF/DMR), CAPA, risk management, and CE technical documentation. Leads supplier quality activities, including qualification, performance management, and corrective actions (CAPA/SCAR). Investigates nonconformances and out-of-spec issues, implementing corrective/preventive actions to improve product quality. Ensures compliance with domestic and international regulations and performs quality reviews of design and supplier documentation. Drives process validation, testing, and continuous improvement using SPC, data analysis, and experimental methods; supports regulatory submissions (e.g., 510(k)). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Glenview, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
