Quality Engineer Job Description You will be the Quality Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring program quality across proposals, development, production, and support. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for managing the implementation and execution of program quality requirements throughout the proposal and program lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Proficient in the areas of proposals, Basis of Estimate (BOE), contract review, program start-up, production, and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems, suppliers / sub-contractors, and customers. Collaborate and partners with other functions including Program Manager, Proposal Manager, Contracts, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production and Customers. Support all programs proposals for Guided, Missile, Launcher and Advanced Programs. Assist in establishing quality budgets and cost commitments. Participate in independent reviews including Readiness Acceptance Check (RAC), customer proposal / BOE reviews, customer negotiations, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits, Programs Reviews and Executive Leadership Proposals Reviews. National Pay Statement Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
