What You Will Do:
Ensure engine and control system hardware and software are properly configured to support ground and flight test operations, including setup, validation, and readiness activities. Perform engine system performance evaluation and prognostic health analysis, document findings, and troubleshoot control system issues to drive timely resolution. Support the full test execution lifecycle by participating in test planning, pre‑ and post‑test briefings, mission control room data monitoring, and coordination with test cell and flight line teams. Execute and maintain software and diagnostic tools used during testing, ensuring accurate configuration, data integrity, and effective communication of status and emerging issues Configure and execute test checkout of hardware/software configurations on electronic verification benches.

Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 5 years of engineering experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 years with an advanced degree.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Background in aerospace propulsion and/or engine control systems Experience using Linux environments and familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl and/or Python Experience in web development, PHP, SQL databases Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and adapt to evolving test schedules and program needs

Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
