Pay:
Around $95,000 + 5% bonus (based on EBITDA)

North Augusta, SC About the Opportunity Job Shop is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, growing manufacturing company for a Senior Quality Engineer . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional who enjoys driving continuous improvement, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and partnering with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver world-class quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong knowledge of quality systems, and a passion for improving processes from raw materials through final product delivery. What You'll Do As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems while supporting manufacturing operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
Lead quality engineering initiatives across manufacturing operations. Partner with customers to resolve quality concerns and reduce customer-related quality costs. Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles and statistical analysis. Maintain compliance with
ISO 9001
quality standards. Lead the site's Internal Audit Program. Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures for inspection, testing, calibration, and measurement systems. Perform process capability studies, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Gage R&R studies, and correlation studies. Ensure incoming raw materials and finished products meet internal and customer quality specifications. Utilize quality planning and problem-solving tools such as:
APQP PPAP
Root Cause Analysis FMEA Control Plans Statistical Process Control Collaborate with production, engineering, laboratory, and operations teams to improve product quality and manufacturing performance. Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the facility. Review laboratory testing data and product samples. Support quality control activities including inspection, product disposition, and nonconforming material reviews. Assist with returned material investigations and product re-testing. Influence process owners to ensure quality systems remain effective and sustainable. Qualifications We're looking for someone with: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field. 3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or chemical manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement principles. Experience with statistical analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Working knowledge of:
Process Capability Studies Root Cause Analysis 8D Problem Solving
DFMEA & PFMEA
Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Control Plans
PPAP APQP
Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Minitab. Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, production, operations, and laboratory teams.
