We are seeking a proactive Quality Engineer to join our evening shift. In this role, you will improve quality and efficiency of Elite Manufacturing processes. Assist in coordinating all aspects of the company's quality program as needed including developing and administering the quality program, training and coaching employees, and facilitating continuous improvement throughout the organization. Collect, organize, monitor and report quality data. Coordinate the completion of corrective actions in a timely manner. Recommend and implement approved quality improvement initiatives. Control, dispose, record, and report all non-conforming material. Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions and quality plans as needed. Provide quality engineering support to the plant. Perform internal quality audits. Assist in implementing new quality programs and maintaining the quality management and document control system. Conduct quality training as needed. Understand the APQP process and prepare associated documents as needed. Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of quality assurance and control principles.
