Through domestic sourcing, local production, and a strong commitment to quality, NovaFlex provides customers with dependable products while contributing to the growth of American manufacturing and renewable energy. About the role NovaFlex is seeking a Quality Lead to support the launch and operation of our U.S. manufacturing facility. This role will play a key part in building the quality foundation for the U.S. operation. During the startup phase, the focus will be on establishing quality systems, laboratory capabilities, inspection standards, and quality documentation. After production launch, Quality Lead will oversee quality operations, laboratory activities, quality data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products consistently meet company and customer requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes from the ground up and contributing to a growing manufacturing operation. What You'll Focus On During Factory Startup Establish the quality management system and related quality procedures for the U.S. facility. Develop inspection standards, quality documentation, and quality control processes. Support laboratory planning, equipment selection, installation, and testing capability development. Work closely with headquarters to localize and implement quality standards and procedures. Support trial production activities and quality issue resolution. Define responsibilities and workflows for incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control activities. After Production Launch Maintain and continuously improve the quality management system. Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control activities. Manage laboratory operations and testing programs. Analyze quality performance data and drive corrective and preventive actions. Support customer audits, quality investigations, and complaint resolution. Assist in building and supporting future quality functions, including IQC, OQC, and LQC activities. Key Responsibilities Quality System Management Develop and maintain quality procedures, inspection standards, control plans, and related documentation. Support internal audits, customer audits, and quality compliance activities. Ensure quality records are accurate, complete, and properly maintained. Laboratory Setup & Testing Support Participate in laboratory planning and testing capability development. Coordinate installation, calibration, maintenance, and management of testing equipment. Establish laboratory procedures, testing methods, and record management practices. Ensure testing activities are conducted accurately and consistently. Quality Control & Inspection Develop and maintain standards for incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections. Support daily inspection activities and quality control processes. Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. Monitor product quality and support continuous improvement efforts. Quality Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement Analyze quality performance data and identify trends and improvement opportunities. Track quality KPIs and prepare reports for management. Support root cause analysis and corrective action projects. Participate in quality improvement initiatives across the facility. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Production, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, and headquarters quality teams. Support employee training related to quality systems and procedures. Participate in production readiness and process validation activities. Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Background in Quality, Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or related fields is preferred. Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment. Experience supporting manufacturing startup projects is highly preferred. Experience in renewable energy, advanced materials, chemical, or industrial manufacturing environments is a plus. English required. Mandarin Chinese preferred. Skills Strong understanding of quality systems and quality control processes. Knowledge of IQC, OQC, and quality inspection methodologies. Experience with quality documentation and record management. Ability to analyze quality data and drive corrective actions. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
