Quality Assurance Engineer#26-18935 $82.88-$87.88 per hour Grand Prairie, TX Onsite Job Description Quality Engineer (Traveling Role) What You'll Do Support multiple client sites and suppliers with production and quality initiatives Lead efforts to resolve recurring quality issues and improve processes Travel to customer and supplier locations (about 25-50%) to support programs Identify process gaps and implement improvements for efficiency and quality Partner with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers on quality matters What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (or equivalent experience) Active Secret Security Clearance Knowledge of industry standards like AS9100, ISO9001, FAR/DFAR, or similar Experience with inspections, quality processes, and root cause analysis Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Comfortable identifying quality issues and driving corrective actions Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) and inspection planning Experience working with customers and suppliers in a quality or manufacturing environment Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel up to 50% Nice to Have ASQ certifications (CQE, CQIA) Lean / Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) Leadership or team mentoring experience Experience with SAP, Apriso, or similar systems Background in audits, supplier quality, or manufacturing processes Knowledge of measurement systems, gage R&R, or process capability What Success Looks Like You solve complex quality problems and prevent them from recurring You build strong relationships with customers and suppliers You help improve processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives An
