We are Certified "Great Place to Work" http://www.greatplacetowork.com/certified-company/1001559 What You'll Do Under the direction and supervision of Cx staff, the Commissioning (Cx) Engineer in Training I assists in the creation of commissioning plans from construction documents and prepares material estimates for Cx projects. The Cx EIT I is responsible for learning Cx technical policies and procedures as well as performing site visits for project managers when needed. Prepares commissioning plans, which are made up of pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, and the training matrix from contract documents prepared by the project design and construction team Assists with data input for Cx checklists Prepares test procedures for checking the operation of systems Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and shop drawings Performs project job site visits during construction to observe and learn about conformance to design specifications and owner expectations; these visits are performed with or without senior technical staff Learns to understand Cx technical policies and procedures during the execution of projects Attends training to become a certified commissioning provider Actively attends in-house training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas Assist the project team in the development of technical documentation, proposals, and presentations Acts and performs activities inside and outside the organization in a manner consistent with ethical engineering standards Performs any other duties or responsibilities as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies Knowledge of industry specific software (i.e., Revit and AutoCAD) Study and Pass FE exam within first year SKILLS andABILITIES

Who We're Looking For Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited collegePreferred Qualifications:
Strong communication skills and attention to detail Eager to learn in a collaborative environment Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Knowledge of engineering theories/methodologies and industry software (Revit and AutoCAD) Clear written communication and speech clarity; strong comprehension and follow‑through on direction and feedback Detail‑oriented with sound judgment and decision‑making; collaborative and eager to learn Intent to study for and pass the FE exam within the first year.
