Job Description

Customer Quality Engineer (Electronics / Server Manufacturing) Please note: Do not sponsor H-1B visas Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) to join our team. This role is responsible for managing customer quality requirements, ensuring product quality compliance, and driving resolution of customer-reported issues within an electronics manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, ensuring that quality expectations are met while continuously improving processes and product reliability. Candidates must have experience in electronics or server manufacturing. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related issues and inquiries Analyze customer requirements and ensure alignment with internal quality processes Lead customer complaint handling, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Coordinate cross-functional teams (manufacturing, engineering, suppliers) to resolve quality issues Ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant ISO standards Plan and support internal and external audits, including customer audits Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans to prevent quality issues Analyze quality data, track KPIs, and provide reports to internal stakeholders and customers Support development and maintenance of quality procedures and documentation Provide training and guidance on quality standards and customer requirements Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field 3+ years of experience in customer quality or quality engineering within electronics or server manufacturing Hands-on experience handling customer complaints and quality issue resolution Strong experience in root cause analysis (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA) Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with KPI tracking and quality performance improvement Experience supporting or participating in customer audits preferred Strong communication skills, especially in customer-facing situations Quality Systems & Compliance (Preferred) Familiarity with the following standards and practices is preferred:
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001 IATF 16949, VDA 6.3
(automotive-related standards) CGMP or
ISO 13485
(if applicable) Risk management and regulatory compliance frameworks

Ability to drive issues to closure in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin Chinese language with global stakeholders.
