Job Description

Process Quality Engineer (PQE) SUMMARY We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet or exceed established quality standards and meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will lead audit activities, drive corrective actions, and support the continuous improvement of quality systems. The Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external customers to strengthen compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures while advancing overall operational excellence.
ESSTENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
External Customer Audit Management
  • Lead and coordinate external customer audits as the primary point of contact.
  • Ensure full alignment with customer quality requirements and expectations.
  • Drive timely completion of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CLCA) through effective tracking and follow-up until closure.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Internal Audit and Compliance Activities
  • Conduct weekly process audits based on defined focus topics to ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal procedures.
  • Plan and organize the annual internal process audit program , ensuring comprehensive coverage across all relevant processes.
  • Support supplier or cross-functional audit activities when required. Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) Management
  • Identify non-conformances and lead structured problem-solving efforts using methodologies such as 5 Why's, Fishbone, or FMEA.
  • Track and ensure timely closure and effectiveness of RCCA actions.
  • Analyze audit results and trends to proactively identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as SPC, control charts, and statistical analysis Quality Systems and Documentation
  • Develop, maintain, and update audit checklist to reflect process, product, and customer requirement changes.
  • Support the control and management of quality-related documents in compliance with QMS requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of quality plans, procedures, and audit standards. Continuous Improvement and Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to drive process improvements and strengthen quality performance.
  • Support training and awareness initiatives related to audit processes, compliance and quality standards.
  • Utilize quality tools such as SPC, Pareto analysis, statistical analysis, and control charts to monitor and improve process performance.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, electrical, industrial or related field.
      Experience:
      Experience in the electronics industry or server manufacturing environment.
      CERTIFICATES/ LICENSES/REGISTRATIONS
      • Certifications preferred: Obtaining certifications like Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt or Auditor certification can enhance qualifications.
      EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
      Experience in audit processes (internal, external, or supplier audits)
      PHYSICAL DEMANDS
      • Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
      • Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.
      WORK ENVIRONMENT
      • Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality, safety, productivity and continuous improvement.
      • Standard manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels (fans, server racks, and automated machinery).
      Pay:
      $72,000.00 - $76,000.00 per year
