Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LMMFC) Lufkin, TX is seeking a motivated and driven Quality Engineer. What You Will Be Doing Quality Engineers at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control act as an integrated member of the design and production teams developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured and procured products. To ensure our customer gets the highest level of Quality, our Quality Engineers review documentation related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure requirements are fulfilled. In order to perform required tasks overtime (that is time worked in excess of a 40 hour work week) may be required at the discretion of management. In a culture of continuous improvement our department utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and drive affordability and efficiency. Working with an integrated team which includes customers, suppliers and other functional personnel, non-conformances are identified, trended and resolved in a timely manner. As a vital member of the team, a Quality Engineer at Missiles and Fire Control evaluates the designs, both electrical and mechanical, to ensure a producible product is being proposed with processes in place for a smooth production flow. - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company‑sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start. Basic Qualifications:
STEM Degree in Bachelors or Higher. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for the inspection of manufactured products. Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and able to translate into work instruction. Experience in development and/or performance of First Article Inspection (FAI) and technical data packages in accordance with AS9102. Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex. Experience in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance. Circuit Card, Wire Harness, or Box assembly manufacturing knowledge. Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Desired Skills:
Experience with software for development of FAI packages. Lean / Six
Sigma Green Belt. Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment. AS9100 Interpretation and application experience. AS9102 Interpretation and application experience. Experience working with Government customers. Effective Communication Skills:
Written, Oral, Listening, Technical Writing. Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration. Security Clearance Statement:

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position:
