Manufacturing Full Job Description Quality Engineer Position Summary:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality meets customer and regulatory requirements. This role supports production, investigates nonconformances, and drives corrective actions to improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve production documentation and ensure compliance to requirements Investigate nonconforming material (NCM) and lead root cause analysis Support corrective and preventive actions (CARs) Work with production and engineering to resolve quality issues Review customer requirements, drawings, and specifications Support First Article Inspections (FAIR) and customer submissions Monitor and report quality metrics (FPY, NCM, RMA, etc.) Assist with internal and external audits (AS9100) Support supplier quality issues as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred Knowledge of

AS9100 / ISO 9001

standards Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience with FAIR (AS9102) Familiar with ERP systems Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
