Job Description

Role Summary:
As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures. This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements. You'll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with production in order to plan and execute inbound and production checks Manage relations with customers or third party inspectors Participate in external supplier quality testing and audits Participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) events Monitor product portfolio KPIs and drive effective root cause corrective actions where appropriate to address gaps to agreed targets Manage customer witness inspections Maintain and analyze data to provide information or identify problems for management and stakeholders on the state of a process or product quality Create awareness in the Leadership community regarding what opportunities have been discovered or developed and how to realize them Collaborate with the department or other company departments to clarify / resolve issues techniques related to QC activities. Offer all documents as per QAP to customer after coordinating with internal departments and closing all documentation queries Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
BS or BA Degree in relevant field and relevant experience This position requires access to onsite locations managing government information, which contains Not Releasable to Foreign Nationals (NOFORN) data. Therefore, to meet NOFORN requirements, you will have to provide proof of US Citizenship and attest that you do not have dual citizenship.
Preferred :
Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies Experience in quailty control department Understanding of product / process flow Strong organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills
