Job Requirements Springfield, VA Valley Forge, PA Top Secret Polygraph not specified Mid Level Career (5+ yrs experience) $125,000 - $150,000 Job Description We are seeking a System Engineer - Product Quality to support a government customer within the National System for Geospatial‑Intelligence (NSG). In this mission‑focused role, you will design test strategies, assess GEOINT product performance, and conduct independent verification and validation (IV&V) across multiple remote‑sensing phenomenologies to ensure products meet critical operational standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop government‑approved test plans, procedures, and data requirements for GEOINT product quality assessments
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of image scientists, analysts, photogrammetrists, and statisticians
  • Perform IV&V on GEOINT products to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and operational concepts
  • Evaluate visual quality and metadata accuracy for EO, SAR, LiDAR, OPIR, motion imagery, and multi‑/hyperspectral products
  • Track issues, document findings, and deliver clear, decision‑driven briefings to government stakeholders
  • Support requirements analysis, CONOPS development, and system‑performance evaluations
  • Work seamlessly within integrated government-contractor teams in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to SCI and CI Poly
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Software Engineering, or related technical field
  • 5-10 years of systems‑engineering experience supporting government or defense programs
  • Proven experience in test design, requirements verification, data validation, and mission‑aligned CONOPS development
  • Knowledge of remote‑sensing imaging systems and GEOINT product‑formation/exploitation workflows
  • Strong technical‑communication skills for documentation and concise briefings
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to integrated project teams Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with
EO/IR/SAR
remote‑sensing phenomenologies
  • Familiarity with NSG tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination (TCPED) workflows
