Full Job Description Reliability and Maintainability Engineer Job Summary:
Design for Reliability & Safety (airplane and system design reliability requirements validation & verification, reliability requirements allocation to suppliers, failure modes, rates, effects, propagation and detection analysis, architecture & operational provisions, safety & certification analysis, certification support, reliability & durability testing). Interaction with airplane system suppliers, business partners, airline customers, airplane development program leaders, and functional management is typical, as is a high level of communication between the rest of the R&M Engineering internal organization, program teams, and functional design areas. Team involvement and individual effort, problem solving, and managing multiple actions and assignments will be regular duties for an R&M engineer.
Required Skills:
Experience with propulsion or airplane systems. Reliability engineering experience. Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) experience. Commercial Airplane Certification experience.
Pay:
$130,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
