• Job Summary:

• The Quality Engineer I/II works under immediate supervision and uses established procedures to control and monitor quality, ensuring products are consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements.

• Essential Functions:

• + Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers and Customers + Collect and analyze production data to evaluate product quality + Conduct root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions + Stop production if serious product defects are present + Monitor quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency + Instruct others in quality control and analytical procedures + Produce reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, root cause analyses, or quality trends + Review statistical studies, regulatory standards and trends in the field of quality control + Identify critical points in the Value Stream and specify sampling procedures + Drive qualification of product and process changes to ensure only the highest levels of quality are accepted + Support audits with Defense, Aerospace and Customer Auditors + Provide support for failure analysis and reliability testing as required + Review and approve quality document changes - Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Manufacturing Change Orders (MCOs), deviations + Any other task assigned by supervisor or management •

Minimum Qualifications:

• +

Experience:

0-4 years of Quality Engineering experience +

Knowledge:

Understands fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program; Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field +

Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Full color acuity; Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in order to meet company standards and deadlines +

Education/Certification:

BA or BS degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field +

• Eligibility Requirement:

• This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). ​

• Preferred Qualifications:

• + Experience in an Aerospace environment or similar manufacturing setting + ASQC Quality Engineer Certification

• Level II:

  $95,600.00 - $112,400.00.
