candidates•Position Summary We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations by ensuring product and process quality through non-conformance management, supplier quality activities, process improvements, and quality system support. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, Suppliers, and cross-functional teams to identify quality issues, drive corrective actions, and improve overall product performance. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities Partner with Operations and business teams to support product and process quality objectives. Manage internal and supplier-related Non-Conformances (NCs) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs). Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive timely corrective actions. Support manufacturing complaint investigations and non-conforming material reviews. Collaborate with suppliers on quality issues, Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs), and improvement activities. Manage Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICRs) and support cross-functional reviews and approvals. Support process improvements, validation activities, equipment qualification, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA). Analyze quality metrics and trends to identify risks and implement improvements. Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related technical field. Minimum 2 years of experience in quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, or a related field. Experience with quality systems, investigations, and corrective action processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend solutions. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and suppliers. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with TrackWise or similar electronic Quality Management Systems (eQMS). Knowledge of CAPA, NC, MRB, SCAR, PPAP, and change control processes. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment. Familiarity with process validation and Measurement System Analysis. About Matlen Silver Experience Matters.
