Description Overview Self-driven technical professional providing electrical and reliability engineering support of equipment assets through mastership of assets, technologies and technical competence of equipment. This professional will be a factory wide technical authority with ownership of the standards, knowledge and competences focused on predictive maintenance, preventive maintenance optimization, equipment life cycle management and full compliance to Perrigo's maintenance foundations. Assists with continuous improvement efforts in the assigned process area. Scope of the Role
- Works on plant floor with the specialists, Production Manager, Supervisors, engineering and other staff to trouble-shoot technical problems with manufacturing, packaging or material handling equipment or process flow problems in production or warehouse areas.
- Supports continuous improvement projects aimed at waste reduction and efficiency improvements by streamlining processes and improve capability.
- Assist in capital projects by providing electrical engineering support, including design, installation, and commissioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives for electrical and mechanical reliability.
- Conduct electrical system troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Perform reliability analysis and implement predictive/preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
- Assisting in the development of technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of electrical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality repairs and upgrades.
- Help with supporting and improving automation systems, including PLCs and HMIs, to enhance operational efficiency. Help oversee and ensure the safety and reliability of the spray dryer system, including implementing necessary improvements Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
