Job Description

Drylock Technologies Ltd. is a family-owned global hygiene products company. With plants and offices in over a dozen countries, our aim is to make the best hygiene products in the world. We offer solutions for adult incontinence, feminine care, and baby diapers. Our mission is to combine customer focus with product innovation and manufacturing in order to provide the hygiene products of the future, today. Join our team as a Manufacturing Associate and play an important role in creating high-quality products in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position offers hands-on work, opportunities to learn new skills, and the chance to grow within a supportive and safety-focused workplace.
Schedule:
Manufacturing Associate work three or four 12 hour shifts each week, rotating from days (7am-7pm) to nights (7pm-7am) every 8 weeks.
Starting pay:
$20.50 per hour (base pay + shift differential)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate Drylock Core Values:
Safety, Respect, Ownership Responsible for safe, accurate and efficient operation and troubleshooting problems of stacking robots, conveyors, case sealer and stretch wrap equipment using HMI or manual methods. Release and assign product to robot lanes. Accurately count grabs contents. Ability to identify which grabs need to be wrapped prior to the stretch wrapper to prevent tipping. Accurately scan finished goods and placement of labels on finished goods. Respond to all sorter alarms. Restack any tipped grabs. Knowledge of conveyor process and palletizing process and identify the purpose of each section of the conveyor / palletizing system. Follow all learned processes and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area; keep the equipment free of dust and debris. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Detect deviations from normal machine behavior. Perform visual quality checks on finished good cases. Detect and report product defects and questionable conditions. Apply Learned Lean Manufacturing concepts. Must comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Demonstrates proper and safe entry into robot cells. Understands all safety features of robot cells, conveyors, forklifts, sleigh board stacker/destacker and sorter. Communicate work status with incoming crew at shift change. Effectively communicate. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work in various areas throughout the plant.
Operate task specific equipment:
Baling equipment. Stretch wrapper. Industrial lifts (forklift, clamp truck, roll clamp, sweeper). Stand-alone case printer. Packaging equipment. Keep production lines and work area clear of scrap and garbage. Keep facility garbage's empty. Weigh, tag, and record all scrap and recycled products on the tally sheet. Stage and load scrap or recycled products on designated trailers.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience in a Production environment preferred but not required. Experience in Logistics related fields preferred but not required. Forklift experience and prior certifications preferred but not required.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must be able to communicate with leadership and co-workers effectively Must be able to read and interpret work documents Must have the ability to work in teams Must have the ability to perform basic math Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes Must have the ability to operate and troubleshoot problems with stacking robot, conveyor, case sealer and stretch wrap equipment using HMI or manual methods safely, accurately and efficiently. Ability to operator compressed air system. Must have basic computer skills. Must be able to read and interpret production related documents. Ability to demonstrate consistent and accurate completion of paperwork. Must have the ability to work independently. Demonstrates desire to be a cross-functional team member.
Personal Protective Equipment Requirements:
Hearing protection must be worn at all times. Cut resistant gloves when using cutting tools. Safety goggles must be worn when working with the air compressor.
Work Environment:
