We're looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and play a key role in driving product quality, process improvements, and operational performance across the organization. Recognized as a Southeast Wisconsin Top Workplace, ASYST Technologies is a state-of-the-art injection molding and automation facility located in Kenosha, known for delivering innovative engineered solutions and motion transfer assemblies for the automotive industry. We design, develop, and manufacture world-class plastic components and automated systems for leading companies across the automotive, consumer, medical, healthcare, electronics, and industrial sectors. Our products and services are used by customers in more than 32 countries worldwide. In this role, you'll collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Sales, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve complex quality challenges, support new product launches, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is based on-site in Kenosha, WI. Relocation assistance is not available. What You'll Do Lead and participate in cross-functional problem-solving activities Drive corrective actions for customer and internal quality concerns Analyze manufacturing and SPC data to identify trends and improvement opportunities Support APQP and PPAP activities for new and existing products Conduct capability studies and dimensional analysis Perform functional, dimensional, and physical product testing Support and maintain compliance with
IATF 16949, ISO
9001, and
ISO 14001
standards Conduct internal audits and support quality system improvements Assist with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Train and support employees on quality and improvement processes Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams What We're Looking For Technical degree or certification with 3+ years of quality engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of:
APQP & PPAP
SPC and statistical analysis GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
IATF 16949 / ISO 9001
standards Experience using quality inspection equipment and hand gages Strong problem-solving skills using quality tools and methodologies Excellent communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel Preferred Qualifications CMM programming experience with Calypso Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline Why Join Us?
