Job Description
MasterMold is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated First Shift Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations, improve process performance, and help ensure our products meet company, customer, ISO, and IATF quality standards.
This is a hands-on role working directly with production, engineering, maintenance, and leadership teams to solve real manufacturing problems, support quality systems, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Do Support manufacturing quality systems and process improvement initiatives Investigate quality concerns and assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions Maintain and support PPAPs, Control Plans, PFMEAs, work instructions, and related quality documentation Perform dimensional inspections, part layouts, and product evaluations using quality inspection tools, FARO Arm equipment, KEYENCE systems, gauges, and fixtures Support ISO and IATF compliance, audits, and manufacturing quality standards Analyze quality trends, defect data, and inspection results to identify improvement opportunities Work closely with production and engineering teams to reduce defects, improve processes, and strengthen product qualityQualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred Experience in manufacturing quality, quality engineering, or process engineering preferred Experience with ISO and IATF quality systems preferred Knowledge of GD&T, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, root cause analysis, and corrective actions preferred Experience with FARO Arm or similar inspection equipment preferred Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Spanish/English bilingual skills are a plusSchedule First Shift Flexibility may occasionally be needed to support production, audits, launches, or operational needsWhy Join MasterMold?
