Quality Engineer 8701 West Bradley Road, Milwaukee, WI 53224 Full-time Full-time H&T Global Circuits is a worldwide leader in PCBs, LCDs and adjacent electronic products, and one of the largest privately owned printed circuit board manufacturing companies in the United States. JOB DESCRIPTION
Quality Engineer General Summary:
The Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting leadership and helping provide direction for the development, implementation, and management of all quality improvement related functions to ensure that product quality meets business requirements and follows industry and customer requirements.
RESPONSIBILITES
  • Partner with management to create and cultivate a quality culture to "Build in Quality"; empowering each team member to be responsible for the quality of their work.
  • Work with the organization to achieve quality goals and objectives as defined by leading internal resources, support the development of quality policies, methods and techniques as well as monitoring operational performance and offering recommendations for course correction.
  • Assist in developing tools and training to encourage process improvements and increasing manufacturing yields.
  • Mentor / coach problem solving teams with respect to process and / or product improvement as well as to review and approve corrective actions.
  • Support cross-functional efforts as a team member with process engineering and develop continuous improvement protocols and training methods, quality problems and may provide technical assistance to engineers, technicians and inspectors.
  • Liaise with customers to reconcile quality related issues on shipped product.
  • Ensure, that the organization maintains compliance to customer specifications, quality management and other industry standards and process requirements.
  • Review, edit, and maintain in-process quality standards, with the intention of improving floor level decision making for quality-related issues.

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret performance and operations issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to learn and follow directions.
  • Ability to read customer PCB prints, drawings and specifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 3-years PC Board manufacturing experience with proven quality problem solving skills.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards and requirements.
  • High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred or equivalent work experience in PCB board manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Mini-Tab or other SPC SW platform a plus.
