- Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Development
- + Be a subject matter expert in the New Product Development team with respect to test methods, product requirements, user needs, and reliability + Develop Critical to Quality (CTQ) requirements from collaboration with Product Management and participation in User Needs Research + Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing to define product specifications with respect to all aspects of reliability, quality, and user needs + Design experimental techniques to improve development and testing efforts + Interact with global suppliers that participate in product development + Track multiple projects simultaneously to ensure adherence to schedule and the Milwaukee Tool process •Testing and Analysis•+ Develop new test procedures and create test plans to evaluate product performance against user and product requirements + Effectively document test plans, procedures, and best practices for execution in test laboratories + Perform data analysis, post-processing, and visualization of test data + Summarize test results with statistical techniques and present concise, logical, written conclusions + Ensure timely failure reporting and drive root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventative actions (FRACA) •Job Requirements•+ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field, preferably with 0-2 years of experience in similar product development, reliability, test, or quality roles + Experience with or desire to learn: + Strong analytical problem-solving skills and sound statistical application in areas such as Design of Experiments, sampling techniques, regression, reliability, FMEAs, hypothesis testing, etc.
