This individual will assist the Maintenance Team in the achievement of safety, quality, production, cost, and product development objectives of a paper machine process line. We offer the opportunity to work in an engaged, team-focused environment while building related skills and experience for your future. Pay Rate $27.00 per hour
Requirements:
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Enrolled in a Reliability, Electrical, Mechanical, or similar Engineering degree program Living in or willing to relocate to the Mosinee, Wisconsin area from January
  • August or June
  • December 2027 Strong technical aptitude and proven problem-solving abilities Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities:
Evaluate product improvement or cost optimization projects Assist with machine shutdowns and start-ups Monitor, assess, analyze, and optimize process quality and conditions Monitor, assess, and analyze process variability Reduce environmental impact Provide technical support for key departments Provide problem solving and analytical skills Must follow Ahlstrom's manufacturing and hygiene processes, procedures and policies, as applicable, to the position's areas of responsibility, in order to meet and maintain the safety, quality, and regulatory compliance requirements for each grade of paper Assist and/or lead safety, productivity, quality, efficiency, cost control, compliance, and housekeeping projects Support operations/maintenance efforts and drive continuous improvement Ahlstrom is a global leader in combining fibers into sustainable specialty materials.
