As our U.S. operation continues to grow, we are looking for a Quality Engineer who can help elevate quality standards across production, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems at the source, collaborating cross-functionally, and making a direct impact on manufacturing performance. You will work closely with production teams, suppliers, and leadership to improve processes, reduce defects, and ensure our products consistently meet customer expectations. Responsibilities Lead quality assurance efforts from incoming material inspection through final product evaluation. Partner with production teams to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and process deviations. Manage customer and supplier quality concerns using structured root cause analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, SPC, and FMEA. Conduct internal audits and support compliance with

ISO 9001, IATF

16949, and customer-specific quality standards. Support supplier quality assurance activities, including incoming inspections and corrective action follow-up. Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including PPAP submissions, sampling, process validation, and FMEA development. Maintain and improve quality documentation, control plans, inspection records, and work instructions within the quality management system. Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards, inspection methods, and company procedures. Promote a culture of accountability, process discipline, and continuous improvement throughout the facility. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. 2+ years of experience in a quality-focused manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of

ISO 9001, IATF

16949, or other Quality Management Systems (QMS). Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into practical improvements. Strong communication and collaboration skills across production, suppliers, and leadership teams. Experience in printing, packaging, consumer goods, or related manufacturing industries is preferred. Experience with ERP systems or quality management software is a plus. CQE, CQA, or Internal Auditor certifications are preferred but not required. Why Join GZ Printpak?
