Onsite - onsite Overview System One is seeking multiple Commissioning Engineers to support our client for a 12 month contract. Initially, this role will start remote and later deploy to the work site in Kemmerer, WY. Responsibilities + Coordinate the integrated design, commissioning, and operation of plant systems, structures, and integrated analysis of the facility, focusing on Commissioning plan and product development. + Focus on nuclear island commissioning and plant operations related aspects of the Natrium Demonstration Plant, including scheduling, planning, and testing product development. + Collaborate with engineers and project management professionals on systems, components, engineering analysis, test planning, and scheduling activities involving plant design, commissioning, and schedule development. + Develop and implement commissioning administrative programs and procedures. + Create and coordinate an integrated nuclear plant commissioning schedule across multiple organizations. + Provide expertise regarding nuclear plant regulations, policies, and industry best practices related to commissioning. + Support development, maintenance, and refinement of plant and system requirements, specifications, and strategies throughout the lifecycle. + Apply engineering principles to the design of nuclear and industrial facilities and operations. + Lead efforts to evaluate plant control and transient responses, providing recommendations for operational efficiencies. + Oversee and support licensing activities related to Safety Analysis Reports. + Manage and oversee nuclear island commissioning programs, processes, and procedures ensuring testing meets design criteria. Requirements + B.S. degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience. + 7+ years of direct nuclear power plant experience commissioning safety-related systems and components. + 5+ years of direct experience in commercial nuclear reactor operations, including Senior Reactor Operator qualification or equivalent; Shift Technical Advisor qualification preferred. + Experience in developing or using nuclear plant commissioning processes and procedures. + Knowledge of nuclear plant design, complex systems, and structures highly desired. + Experience with P6 Primavera or To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
