Key Skills Required :

• System Safety Engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of

MIL-STD-882E

• Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessment

FHA, PHA, SHA, SSHA, FMEA/FMECA, FTA

• Safety Requirements Development & Verification
• Experience reviewing hardware designs, electrical drawings, and schematics
• Aerospace, Defense, Missile Systems, Avionics, or DoD program experience
• Technical report preparation and customer-facing communication skills

Job Responsibilities :

• Assist in implementing and managing

MIL-STD-882E

compliant System Safety Programs

• Perform System Safety Program tasks across Management, Analysis, Evaluation, and Verification activities
• Analyze engineering hardware and electrical schematics to identify hazards and assess safety compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to eliminate hazards and develop effective controls
• Support development and review of system safety requirements
• Prepare Safety Assessment Reports, Program Briefs, and technical documentation
• Participate in technical reviews and customer safety approval processes
• Review system requirements, military standards, and customer specifications to ensure compliance Qualified candidates should

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS

Pay Range

• : $70-$80 per hour
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
