Direct Hire Overview Seeking a senior-level engineer to lead integration, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and qualification activities for embedded computing systems. This role will provide technical leadership to the Integration & Test team while supporting board-level, chassis-level, cabinet-level, and system-level products within highly regulated engineering environments. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience 8+ years of experience in embedded systems integration, system-level testing, verification & validation, qualification testing, and hardware/software troubleshooting Experience leading test activities, mentoring team members, and coordinating project priorities Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux installation, configuration, networking, and troubleshooting Hands-on experience with embedded architectures and interfaces including VPX, VME, VNX+, PCIe, Ethernet, RS-232/422/485, SATA, I2C/IPMB, JTAG, and FPGA-based systems Scripting and automation experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Perl, Ruby, LabVIEW, or similar tools Experience with diagnostic tools such as iPerf, CrystalDisk, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and multimeters Familiarity with environmental testing (thermal, humidity, shock, vibration, altitude) Strong technical documentation skills, including test plans, procedures, reports, qualification records, and verification documentation Knowledge of

2015, AS9100D, configuration management, documentation control, PLM/PDM systems, and engineering change processes Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical requirements Responsibilities Lead daily Integration & Test activities, including technical direction, prioritization, scheduling, issue resolution, and project execution Integrate, configure, troubleshoot, and test embedded computing systems, chassis assemblies, cabinet-level systems, and board-level products Install and support operating systems, firmware, drivers, networking, and test software Execute functional, verification, validation, qualification, and environmental testing Qualify new R&D and vendor-supplied products, including SBCs, Ethernet switches, PCIe switches, storage modules, and I/O products Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, reports, qualification records, manuals, and supporting documentation Maintain traceability between requirements, test methods, test results, and objective evidence Develop and support automation scripts, regression testing, diagnostic tools, and data capture utilities Mentor team members, review test results, and drive corrective actions Communicate project status, risks, qualification progress, and capacity concerns to leadership Support failure analysis, design reviews, NPI activities, project planning, and risk assessments Ensure compliance with quality standards, configuration controls, and regulated documentation requirements Provide technical support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, Project Engineering, and customers Support audits, resource planning, and management review activities Perform verification testing following manufacturing or design corrective actions Ideal Background Embedded computing hardware integration and system-level testing Advanced hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting Technical leadership and team mentoring Strong automation and scripting expertise Experience working within aerospace, defense, military, or other highly regulated environments Excellent documentation and communication skills

$135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
