•Water Resources to join our team in West Sacramento. This is an opportunity for an experienced engineer who is ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to grow technically and professionally. You'll work on meaningful water resources projects throughout Northern California, lead and mentor project teams, collaborate directly with clients, and work closely with KSN's senior leadership. Our work focuses on solving complex water-related challenges for flood management, agricultural water supply, drainage, and environmental restoration clients throughout the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, Central Valley, and Sacramento Valley. What You'll Do Lead and support water resources and civil engineering projects from planning through design and implementation. Work on flood control, agricultural water supply and drainage, and environmental restoration projects. Lead and mentor engineers and other technical staff. Develop engineering studies, designs, calculations, plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates. Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and other project documentation. Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations. Lead project meetings and communicate technical information to clients, agencies, project partners, and internal teams. Support clients with various funding programs. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Collaborate directly with KSN's senior management team. What We're Looking For We're looking for an experienced engineer who combines strong technical knowledge with leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Agricultural, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field. 8+ years of relevant engineering experience. California Professional Civil Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain a California license within six months. Experience developing construction plans, specifications, engineering calculations, and cost estimates. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze complex engineering issues and develop practical, client-focused solutions. Ability to work independently while also effectively leading and collaborating with a team. Preferred Qualifications Project management experience. Experience with flood control, water resources, agricultural water, drainage, or related infrastructure projects. Experience leading project teams and client meetings. Familiarity with engineering projects in Northern California, particularly the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, Central Valley, or Sacramento Valley. Why Join KSN?
