Job Description

We are looking for a driven and curious Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Denver, Colorado. As part of our team, you will work with a core group of engineers and designers on some of the most complex water and wastewater treatment projects in our region. You will work in process, research and planning studies, pilot scale evaluations, treatment technologies, and applicable regulatory frameworks to collaborate with our team and deliver meaningful solutions for treatment project challenges locally, nationally, and across the globe. You'll also have opportunities to engage in project management and business development roles. You'll be a part of diverse multi-discipline teams allowing you to both share what you know and learn so you can grow. The engineers and project managers you will work with are some of the best in the industry - and the clients you will work for and interface with will help us win iconic projects.   • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the wastewater treatment sector
  • Proven experience working on water and wastewater treatment projects (ideally including planning, design, permitting, construction phase services, and commissioning)
  • Related project management and task leadership experience, including demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver projects and tasks
  • Familiarity with State and Federal government regulatory frameworks related to water and wastewater treatment
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months Ideally, you'll also have:
  • Professional Engineer license (P.E.)
  • Master's or other graduate degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical preferred) Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
