Project Manager/Project Engineer - Water Resources Lead impactful water resources projects where your work supports resilient infrastructure and sustainable stormwater solutions across the Southeast. - Lead and manage water resources projects including stormwater master planning, drainage design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
- Oversee the development of watershed studies, capital improvement projects, and stormwater management solutions
- Perform and manage hydrologic and hydraulic analyses (1D/2D modeling) and drainage design
- Design and oversee stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, and NPDES permitting efforts
- Develop and review contract documents including plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and multidisciplinary teams
- Manage project scope, schedules, and budgets, including proposal development and fee negotiations
- Perform and oversee FEMA Letter of Map Changes and related studies
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to team members
- Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, and budget goals What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Georgia preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in water resources engineering
- Strong experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and stormwater management design
- Experience with green infrastructure and low impact development practices
- Experience with erosion and sediment control design and permitting
- Proficiency in preparing construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, ArcMap, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to lead client interactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and appropriately prioritize workflow
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to mentor staff and lead a high-performing team
