Company Overview:

A growing civil construction company in the Des Moines area is looking to add a Water/Wastewater Engineer to their team.

Role Summary:

The Water/Wastewater Engineer will need to be ready to hit the ground running and jump into the role as they are looking for someone who doesn't need a lot of training.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Involved with planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of water and wastewater infrastructure projects with a focus on treatment Monitor financial aspects of projects and coordinate and adjust work effort with the project team to ensure efficient project delivery and identify out‑of‑scope work elements Prioritize schedule and budget development and maintenance throughout the project life cycle, communicating scope creep quickly to project stakeholders Proactively visualize project workflow, including identifying critical path milestones and work elements

Qualifications and Requirements:

4 year degree in a related field PE license 8 years of design experience completing complex water and wastewater projects with a focus on treatment
