Job Description Join our Water Resources team at Olsson, a leading engineering firm actively seeking a dedicated Experienced Engineer. The Water Resources team offers its clients a full spectrum of water services, including a complete line of planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. This position assists with generating ideas and creating designs that provide purposeful, high-quality solutions to successfully solve engineering and design needs. Primary Responsibilities:
+ Perform various tasks, immersing you in practical experience and exposure to diverse engineering facets, methods, and programs + Execute precise technical engineering calculations + Develop hydrologic and hydraulic models for floodplain modeling and mapping + Engage in design and management tasks for stormwater projects, including channel stabilization/restoration, storm drain systems, culverts, and water quality features + Coordinate with project managers and project teams to achieve project objectives + Innovate and introduce new ideas to projects, showcasing your creativity and initiative Qualifications You are passionate about: + Working collaboratively with others + Having ownership in the work you do + Using your talents to positively affect communities You bring to the team: + Strong communication skills + Ability to contribute and work well with a team + Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field of study + Minimum of two years of experience + Must possess Engineer Intern (EI) or (IE) certificate + Proficiency in Civil 3D and
