Responsibilities Assist with designing water collection, storage, and distribution systems as well as water treatment systems. Assist with designing wastewater collection and transmission systems. Provide support by conducting alternative technology evaluations. Help with performing hydraulic modeling, preparing specifications and design calculations, and preparing technical memoranda. Required Skills & Required Experience Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Environmental or related Engineering required. Previous internship experience preferred. Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Experience in Microsoft office is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Must be able to work in a team environment and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Don't meet every single requirement? Salary Range $18.75/hour - $29.75/hour. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. Program Information Summer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee. Our interns get the opportunity to participate in a series of workshops and events, including: Networking opportunities to meet other interns, staff, and senior leaders across the business. Learning about our services, projects, and clients. Professional development workshops, including a career planning workshop and a DiSC assessment to learn more about themselves and how to work effectively with others.
