About the RoleWe are seeking an Environmental Engineer / Wastewater Project Engineer to join an innovative environmental engineering firm specializing in wastewater, water quality restoration, and decentralized wastewater systems.
You will work with experienced senior engineers on projects for municipal and private clients across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to work on challenging, innovative projects involving wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and groundwater treatment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist senior engineers with the design of municipal and private decentralized wastewater systems.
Prepare engineering reports, calculations, plans, and project documentation.
Support the planning, design, construction, and operation of wastewater and stormwater projects.
Work with innovative wastewater treatment and water quality restoration technologies.
Assist with projects focused on nitrogen and phosphorus removal.
Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, and other professionals as needed.
Work independently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
Required SkillsStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer and technical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated, organized, and willing to learn.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred SkillsExperience with AutoCAD.Experience with ArcView / GIS.Familiarity with decentralized wastewater treatment systems.
Knowledge of innovative wastewater and stormwater management technologies.
Experience with nitrogen or phosphorus removal systems is a plus.
