Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our North Central Community Development team. Your Key Responsibilities Stormwater management, drainage, and erosion & sediment control analysis and design tasks for projects and studies, including closed/open drainage systems, environmental site design, ponds, stream restoration, flood studies, and E&SC controls. Provide technical guidance to the Land Development teams in areas of hydrologic, hydraulic, scour, and water quality design and analysis. Independently manage and perform hydrologic and hydraulic design tasks, reports, and studies. Assist in plan development and cost estimation. Maintain adherence to project schedules and milestones. Participate in field work as needed.Your Capabilities and Credentials Required:
Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling experience including but not limited to TR-55, TR-20, PC-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HydroCAD, or similar. Proficient using CAD programs including AutoCAD Civil 3D. Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe, and Bluebeam.Preferred:
Effective communication and critical thinking skills. Commitment to client satisfaction, as well as team and personal growth. Professional, ethical, positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to challenges. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines, work independently, think clearly, have organized thoughts, and draw logical conclusions. Familiarity with CAD software including AutoCAD Civil 3D. Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems software. Education and Experience Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering from an accredited college or university. Professional Engineer (PE) registration or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire. 5+ years' experience in water resources design and analysis for Land/Civil Site Engineering. - 90,900.00
- $131,800.00 Annually
- Locations in
CO, HI, IL, MD
& Various CA, NJ Areas- 100,000.00
- $145,000.
