Job Description

Join Team Salisbury as a Utilities Engineer or Senior Utilities Engineer (Water & Wastewater). Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is seeking motivated candidates who will be responsible for professional and technical work reviewing plans for water and sanitary sewer to ensure compliance with City codes and Uniform Construction Standards, as well as performing engineering calculations and analyses. The successful candidate will also assist with various utility planning activities, services, and programs. Opportunities for advancement and financial incentives are available for obtaining applicable certifications. Salisbury-Rowan Utilities is an innovative, regional water and wastewater utility currently experiencing unprecedented growth. Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field and some experience in professional engineering work or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possession of North Carolina driver's license.
Utilities Engineer:
Registration as an Engineering Intern (EI).
Senior Utilities Engineer:
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE).

Salary Range:
Engineer:
$62,739.37 - $100,383.00 (Depending on Experience)
Senior Engineer:
$76,260.11 - $122,016.18 (Depending on Experience) $2,000 sign-on bonus to be paid as a lump sum after successful completion of probationary period.
