Position Description Entry Level Water Engineer in Training

Join AE2S as an Engineer in Training (EIT) and begin building a rewarding career with a leading engineering consulting firm focused on improving water quality, protecting our environment, and strengthening communities. As an entry-level engineer, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on meaningful projects from planning and design through construction. You'll gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from industry experts, and develop the technical and professional skills needed to become a successful engineer. We are hiring across multiple practice areas, including: Water
- drinking treatment and distribution Wastewater
- treatment, modeling, and reuse Water Resources
- surface water, stormwater management, and flood risk mitigation Rural Water
- water supply, system development/regionalization During the application process, you'll have the opportunity to indicate the practice area(s) that interests you most.
Responsibilities Assist project managers with the development, and preparation of plans, specifications, and construction cost estimates Assist project managers in the design and solution of client projects Perform construction observation and administration on water related projects Assist in the preparation of technical reports, memorandums, and presentations Work with Contractors to ensure the project document requirements, process, schedule, and related contractual obligations are understood by Contractors performing work for Owner Why AE2S Build Your Future.
