As an Engineer-In-Training for Water Resources, you will have the opportunity to be involved in large, multi-discipline projects that allow the development of a diverse engineering skill set.

  • Perform a variety of waterline, pumping, storage, and source development, sewer collection or hydrology and hydraulic (H&H) design for municipal or local agency groups
  • Prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of water, sewer or H&H projects
  • Work within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projects.
  • Take ownership of project tasks from start to finish
  • Communicates with supervisors and teams including from other offices Additional Information

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 0-4+ years of experience in civil design is preferred. Entry-level candidates will be considered
  • Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
  • Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices
  • Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets
  • Acceptable verbal and written communication skills with clients, staff, and management
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills
  • A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goal
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering
  • Hydraulics and water/sewer experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
