Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Water/Wastewater Project Engineer with 4-8 years of experience to join our growing Water Infrastructure team in Philadelphia. The successful candidate will contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects while working alongside experienced project managers and technical specialists.

This position is ideal for an engineer looking to expand their technical expertise, take on increasing project responsibility, and develop leadership skills while working on impactful infrastructure projects throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Key Responsibilities Support the planning, design, and execution of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Assist in the design of:
Water treatment facilities, Wastewater treatment plants, Pump stations, Water distribution systems, Sewer collection systems, Force mains and gravity sewers, Water storage facilities. Perform hydraulic and process calculations using industry-standard software. Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineering teams. Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and deliverable tracking. Participate in field investigations, site visits, and construction observations. Support construction administration activities, including reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and contractor submittals. Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance documentation. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal project teams. Ensure work is completed in accordance with company QA/QC standards and applicable regulations. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering. 4-8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure design. Strong understanding of engineering design principles and construction practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering design software. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments in a collaborative environment. Pay:
$90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
