Industrial Wastewater Systems Location:
Hybrid | Greater Wausau, Wisconsin (Hybrid preferred) Remote with periodic travel considered for the right candidate
Salary Range:

Your technical leadership will directly support clients' compliance and performance goals while advancing innovative water reuse and energy recovery strategies. Projects span feasibility studies, detailed design, permitting, and hands-on commissioning—so you'll see the full lifecycle of your work and its real-world impact. What You'll Do Lead the design and execution of large-scale wastewater treatment and water reuse projects. Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and clients to define scope, deliverables, and technical strategy. Engineer comprehensive treatment systems utilizing technologies such as: Anaerobic digestion Membrane bioreactors (MBR) Dissolved air flotation (DAF) Nutrient removal and recovery Biogas and energy recovery systems Oversee all phases of design and documentation, from feasibility and permitting to startup and commissioning. Mentor junior engineers and technicians to elevate technical quality and team capability. Manage project budgets, schedules, and risk to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes. What You Bring 10+ years of experience in wastewater treatment design or process engineering. Demonstrated leadership managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects. In-depth knowledge of biological, chemical, and physical wastewater treatment processes. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with AutoCAD/3D modeling, MS Office, and common project tracking tools. A proactive, hands-on approach and a passion for creating reliable, sustainable systems.
Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary:
