Job Description

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a professional staffing firm, and we are recruiting for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer based in Shallotte, NC. This direct hire role will be aligned with the growing industrial project demand in the Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas.
Target Annual Base Salary:
$160,000 - $180,000/year + full benefits package
Location:
Shallotte, NC Work Status:
Hybrid Work Schedule after 90 days (3 days in office)
Relocation Assistance:

Position Summary:
You will be joining a firm with a strong water/wastewater backlog with the opportunity to work with existing staff as well as develop your own team. Projects will include treatment facility planning and design, raw water intakes, water distribution lines, booster pump station design, regional water planning, water system mapping and management plans, lift station design, sanitary sewer system planning and design, asset management planning, and a variety of permitting.
Responsibilities:
This Senior Project Manager role will lead the firm's water / wastewater efforts in the region. As a seller/doer, you will build relationships with municipal clients and help them move projects forward. Lead by example, be professionally respected, and be an excellent communicator. Education /
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required. (Master's Degree preferred.) Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. 15+ years of experience in municipal water / wastewater principles and plant design is required. 5+ years of experience managing engineering projects and/or personnel is required. Demonstrated success in business development efforts, client relationship management, and project delivery.
